The SwitchBot Hub 2 will allow other products in the SwitchBot ecosystem to integrate with HomeKit and is made to work with Matter. The SwitchBot Curtain will be the first product with this capability to be made available.
The new SwitchBot Hub 2 has a thermo-hygrometer function that lets users check the temperature and humidity. And Users contain it from the Home app on their iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch in addition to Matter compatibility for SwitchBot products. Siri will also be accessible via the HomePod mini for informational purposes.
The SwitchBot Curtain will be the first SwitchBot product to support HomeKit through the Matter standard. Customers can control the SwitchBot Curtain on the Apple Home App via Matter at CES to get a feel for its operation. SwitchBot can be found in Venetian Expo Halls A-D at booth 53635. In late February, the final certification for Matter support is anticipated to be finished. Throughout the year, Matter will also gradually add support for additional SwitchBot products.
