Three weeks after the introduction of tvOS 16.3.2, Apple is now making tvOS 16.3.3 available to Apple TV customers. Users of Apple TV 4K will no longer experience connectivity issues with the Siri Remote thanks to today’s update.
Siri Remote connectivity and dependability concerns have been a problem for Apple TV owners for several months. While some had thought that the introduction of tvOS 16.3.2 last month would fix those issues, it didn’t.
Nonetheless, Apple claims that tvOS 16.3.3 does contain the eagerly anticipated Siri Remote fix: “This update resolves a problem that could cause the Siri Remote on Apple TV 4K to stop working.” Only the most recent third-generation Apple TV 4K, which is the device impacted by the Siri Remote communication issues, is compatible with tvOS 16.3.3.
Hopefully, today’s upgrade to tvOS 16.3.3 resolves the problem permanently, as Apple promised. If you have an Apple TV 4K and are experiencing these Siri Remote issues, please let us know in the comments section if today’s update fixes the issues.
