BeReal introduced a new feature earlier this year that allows users to share the music they’re listening to on the app with their friends. The function was once restricted to Spotify, but BeReal is now introducing compatibility with Apple Music as well.
The most recent version of the app now has the capability to link BeReal to an Apple Music account, as some users have pointed out. Apple Music members can now quickly tell their BeReal followers what they’re listening to, just like with Spotify. It appears that more users now have access to the feature, whereas just a small number of people had access to it in the past.
The new sharing function not only supports songs but also podcasts, at least for Spotify users. When a user takes a BeReal while listening to music or a podcast, the app recognizes the material and adds a link to it. When you take your BeReal to share it with your friends, listen to music or podcasts, a message on the app.
BeReal, which Apple called “innovative,” allegedly provides users with an “authentic look into the lives of their family and friends.” The app was selected as the iPhone’s 2022 App of the Year.
