Evernote announced a minor but significant update to its platform this week. Backlinks in the popular notes and task management app will now allow users to easily return to previous notes. According to Evernote, this was one of the most frequently requested features by users, and it is now available.
Users have always been able to link one note to another on the platform. Going back to previous notes, on the other hand, was not an easy task. However, with Backlinks, the Evernote app will now display all previous notes that the user has viewed. You can now return to those notes with a single tap.
Backlinks, according to Evernote, make it much easier to “connect ideas.” It allows users to return to a specific note without having to return to the main app screen and search for it again.
An update to the Evernote app in December enabled offline notes for premium subscribers. The iOS app has also been updated with iOS 16 Lock Screen widgets. Backlinks are now available to Evernote Personal, Professional, and Teams users on the web as well as on the mobile app.
