The Tap to Pay feature, which enables companies to take contactless payments using their iPhones, has been expanded by Apple in collaboration with a number of partners. Houzz, a well-known website for home remodelling, has announced support for Apple’s Tap to Pay in the US. This will enable business professionals to easily receive payment from clients using their iPhones.
As the business stated on Tuesday, professionals using Houzz Pro will be able to rapidly collect payment from their clients using a contactless card or any NFC-enabled smartphone or smartwatch by turning their iPhones into point-of-sale devices.
Since everything is handled through the Houzz app, professionals will find the platform to be much more user-friendly because they can now schedule jobs, get paid, and manage their finances all in one location. Users will get the option to use Apple’s Tap to Pay by linking Houzz Pro to their bank account in order to receive payment.
Alon Cohen, a co-founder of Houzz, stated that the site has always aimed to “keep projects running smoothly” for professionals, and Apple’s Tap to Pay enables them to accomplish just that. Tap to Pay, according to Cohen, also helps “to greater visibility into a pro’s overall cash flow.”
