Millon-Dollar Mistake: Supercar Transporter Flips

Supercar Transporter Flips

We’ve all had a bad day at work, but few of us can say it cost our company more than a million dollars. According to The Daily Mail, a vehicle transporter was on the A20 motorway near Farningham, Kent, in the UK, when the trailer containing no less than ten high-priced supercars overturned. The caravan and many automobiles were strewn over the road when cops arrived.

The truck driver was only slightly injured, but the vehicles he was transporting were not so fortunate. Ben Slipper managed to film the aftermath of the crash and shared it on Facebook. According to the video, there was a Lamborghini Aventador nine the other cars were fully turned upside down.

The AMG GT Black Series alone had a starting MSRP of $327,050 in 2021 and currently sells for somewhere between $370,000 and $700,000 on the market. We can safely assume that the total worth of the cars damaged in this accident will easily exceed a million dollars.

Hopefully, the parties involved have comprehensive insurance coverage; otherwise, their bank accounts are going to take a beating. The police haven’t said what caused the crash, but Slipper claimed on Facebook that the driver “dabbed the brakes” and got “the mother of all tank slappers.” That’s the best we could come up with.
