Apple is now rolling out its first beta of tvOS 17 to the developers as releases betas for iOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS Sonoma. The updates also bring new features such as a redesigned Control Center for Apple TV, and for the first time, you can find your Siri Remote with iPhone and FaceTime on Apple TV in a new way.

“Apple today released updates to the software that will make Apple TV 4K even more enjoyable, interactive, and entertaining for the whole family this autumn. FaceTime is available on Apple TV 4K, allowing customers to have more interactive debates with family and friends on their TV for the first time, according to the firm.

Developers may now test out tvOS 17 by registering their Apple TV in the Apple Developer Program. On the Apple Developer website, you can find further information about how to receive the beta update. A public beta of tvOS 17 is expected to be released by the end of July, according to Apple, and will be available to everyone this fall.

It’s important to note that a fresh beta of the HomePod Software is also accessible, given that HomePod uses a modified version of tvOS. Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K can both run the update.
