WhatsApp Working on Expiring Groups

Users will soon have a new option for organizing groups thanks to the latest additions WhatsApp has made to its platform. Particularly, the well-known messaging service has been trialing a new Expiring Group feature. The new option will, as its name implies, prompt the user to remove a group after a predetermined amount of time.

The user who formed the group can specify a deadline for deleting it with Expiring Groups. Right now, groups can be set to expire after a day, a week, or after a certain date in the beta version of WhatsApp for the iPhone. Following that point, WhatsApp will ask the user if they want to remove the group, so it won’t happen automatically.

According to WABetaInfo, the function is currently being created and will be made available to everyone in an upcoming app update. Users might not be able to view the new Expiring Groups option for the time being, even with the most recent beta version of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp has been testing a new feature that allows users to edit outgoing messages, much like Telegram and iMessage, in addition to Expiring Groups. Meta platform developing new newsletter function for authors to reach a large user base.
