Xfinity Stream App now Lets Users Watch Content over AirPlay

Xfinity stream app

The most recent version of Xfinity Transmit, as reported by Comcast on its website, now supports AirPlay, a wireless standard developed by Apple to stream media across devices. As a result, Xfinity subscribers may immediately begin watching live, on-demand, or DVR recordings on the iOS app and wirelessly stream them to the TV.

Customers of Xfinity may now share and stream content from the Xfinity Stream app, including live sports and news, on-demand movies and TV series, and DVR recordings, directly to Apple TV 4K and other AirPlay-compatible gadgets using AirPlay.

We are still dedicated to giving our Xfinity TV subscribers more options and freedom. They now have more options for enjoying their content both inside and outside of the house thanks to the addition of AirPlay functionality to the Xfinity Stream app.

The Apple TV+ app was introduced by Comcast last year across all of its entertainment platforms. In order to allow users to watch all material using only Apple’s set-top box, the company has also released the Xfinity Stream app for Apple TV.
