The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV now has updated and extra pricing details. When the Equinox EV was first shown over a year ago, Chevrolet predicted a starting price of “around $30,000.” We now know the starting pricing for the 1LT model will be $34,995, including destination.
Chevy left themselves some wriggle space on the pricing by saying “about,” but $5,000 more is not a tiny increase. This $34,995 base model will go on sale somewhere in the 2024 calendar year, according to GM. However, it does not clarify whether it will be a 2024 or 2025 model-year vehicle. This 1LT front-drive model will have a 300-mile range when it goes on sale, according to GM.
Regarding other trims, Chevy released the costs for the Equinox EV’s launch variant, which GM previously revealed would be a 2RS “limited edition” vehicle. The front-drive 2RS will cost $48,995, while the all-wheel-drive 2RS will cost $52,395. Pricing for other trims, such as the 3LT and 2LT models, must be discovered.
Chevy claims to have surpassed its original 300-mile range claim, estimating a maximum range of 319 miles – an EPA-certified figure. However, remember that the 319-mile range is a maximum and only refers to the 2RS FWD launch trim. We’ll have to wait for the final range estimates for the other models.
