Apple Offers Free Repairs for iPhone 14 Plus Camera Issue

Apple has announced a free repair program for a rear camera issue affecting some iPhone 14 Plus models. This problem causes the rear camera not to show a preview on the screen.

Fortunately, only a “very small percentage” of iPhone 14 Plus devices made between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024, are affected.

If you own an iPhone 14 Plus, you can check if your device is eligible for a free repair by entering your serial number on Apple’s website.

If your phone is affected, you can take it to any Apple Store or authorized service provider for a free fix. If you prefer, you can also arrange to send your phone in for repair.

It’s important to note that if your phone has any other damage, like a broken back glass, that will need to be repaired first, and you’ll have to pay for that.

If you have already paid to fix the rear camera before this program starts, Apple will refund you as long as an authorized service provider repairs it.
