The prominent NordVPN provider’s password manager, NordPass, revealed on Thursday that passkeys are now supported in its app. Users of NordPass may now store and manage their passkeys so they can use them on websites and apps that support them.
The new release from NordPass, the company said in a statement, will help internet users easily adapt to this market change without compromising on security and convenience. “Microsoft, Apple, and Google are leading the passkey vision and various websites are only starting to use passkeys for online authentication,” the statement from the company read.
Initially hinted at in January, NordPass Passkey support is now accessible to both personal and commercial users. As a result, users may access their passkeys on any device or platform that supports NordPass, including iOS, macOS, Windows, Android, and Linux.
NordPass is also providing passkey integration for its Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome extensions to make the use of passkeys even more effortless. The business claims that support for Apple’s Safari will arrive later this year.
