Suzuki Motor Corporation has officially entered the electric two-wheeler market by launching its first global Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) scooter, the e-ACCESS. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, India, this highly anticipated scooter aims to revolutionize urban commuting with its style, efficiency, and performance mix.
Designed for city riders, the e-ACCESS boasts a sleek, modern design featuring an LED Position Light and stylish machined two-tone wheels. Powered by a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, it offers an impressive 95 km range on a single charge. The 1 kW motor delivers a top speed of 71 km/h, with a peak torque of 15 Nm. Charging is efficient, with a standard charger taking 6 hours and 42 minutes for a full charge and a fast charger reducing this to just 2 hours and 12 minutes.
The e-ACCESS also features three riding modes: regenerative braking, reverse mode, 17L under-seat storage, and smartphone connectivity for added convenience. Production begins in March 2025, and sales will start in India in April 2025. Suzuki plans to export the e-ACCESS to international markets, competing with Honda, TVS, and Ather electric scooters.
The e-ACCESS represents Suzuki’s commitment to sustainable urban mobility, combining performance with cutting-edge technology for the next generation of riders.
