The rumors have proven true–the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo is exclusively available with an automatic transmission. But that’s not all; this high-performance coupe has received a host of exciting upgrades that make it even more enticing.
On the outside, the Z Nismo flaunts distinctive front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and a rear spoiler. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese 240ZG long-nose model, the lower, longer nose adds a touch of nostalgia while maintaining a modern look.
Exclusivity extends to the 19-inch Rays forged wheels and the unique gray trim piece running along the top of the windows, complemented by a black roof. The cabin sports red and black leather Alcantara Recaro seats, a leather and Alcantara steering wheel, and Nismo-branded instrument graphics with red trim, exuding a sporty vibe.
The engine now produces an impressive 420 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque, gains of 20 ponies and 34 pound-feet. While the nine-speed automatic transmission has been enhanced with beefier clutches and sportier downshift tuning.
The 2024 Nissan Z Nismo is slated to arrive in showrooms this fall, with pricing yet to be announced. It’s safe to expect a premium over the base Z Performance model, which starts at $52,085.
